Winds of change | FuLl moon in aquarius

Here we are again, under the light of the full moon. Magnetised by her presence, and amazed at the speed in which the cycles are turning, month after month. Can we really be 3/4 of the way through 2021 already?!

The full moon’s message this month, I believe, is one of heart-centred tenderness, kindness and a knowing from an intuitive understanding, what the most skilful actions are that best navigate these most turbulent of times.

Times are certainly tender when we look around into the big wide world. Covid still causing so much uncertainty in the hearts of us all…

Will the vaccines work?

Are they safe?

Will there be a fourth wave?

The weather systems around the world in flux: unprecedented heat waves, fires, floods, and seasons that bring weather we would normally see at other times of the year.

The destruction of ecosystems worldwide, the loss of habitats for animals, insects, plant life causing the sixth mass extinction of our planet unless something drastic is done…

There is so much unknown. It’s tender times. And tender times means skilful action is required if we are going to navigate the turbulence intelligently.

Here are my top full moon tips this month:

  1. Being gentle with our bodies, nurturing her/him, feeding her/him with pure, uplifting food that nourish us and the Earth. When the moon is full anything that is healing and nourishing will be amplified, so the same goes for more toxic foods and drinks!

  2. Being tender means listening with presence to each other, and in the spirit of loving kindness respecting each other’s stance on world issues that are present.

  3. Connecting to the Earth: beyond all the human noise, Earth is beautiful, powerful, self regulating and loving. She is balance and holds the unity of the web of life. What we do to the Earth, and all that live on her we ultimately do to ourselves.
Earth is my anchor and helps me stabilise and self regulate when I feel uncertain, as I do at some point most days.

  4. Whenever you feel stressed or off balance breathe slowly and send your grounding chord deep into the earth to ground yourself.

  5. Nurture yourself by encouraging the things that make you feel alive and happy.

  6. Connect to the infinite Sky: gently remember your vast infinite nature. That there are limitless possibilities and potentials in any given moment.

  7. The sky reminds us to be the wind of change, the spark of life, that can help propel and inspire us to transform as an individual, but also collectively for humanity.

  8. Use bells, drums, voice and chants to clear any disharmony or stagnant energy in your inner/outer spaces. Here is a chant to help ground you to the Earth and also connect you to the winds of change and transformation: https://youtu.be/VG1jVS6Rufw

  9. Stand up for the healing of our world, with your voice, with your actions. Be a voice for change and together we can birth a new Earth 🌍

I know that without my daily practices I can get fairly anxious and bogged down with managing life. When here, it is hard to be a conduit for meaningful change anywhere. So this full moon let’s celebrate healing. Healing our bodies, hearts and minds so our vessels can be vessels of strength, support and love, not just for ourselves, but for the whole web of life that is so intricately connected.

I hope that I have been able to remind you of what you already know, and that together we help bring each other home to the reservoir of peace and love that resides under the surface within us, that waits patiently every second, hour and day for us to come back to. Just a breath, presence, mantra, mudra, meditation or asana away.

Be Blessed

Blessed Be

With All My Love
