CELEBRATING TALENT AND EFFICIENCY

It’s a gorgeous day, the sun is streaming down from a vast blue infinite sky, the birds are singing and there is an air of hope and joy on the breeze.

My morning meditations and mindsets have been done, an amazing walk at the beach, with magical chance meetings, and now I am sitting down at home with a warm superfood drink and delicious raw healthy peanut butter bars (made by myself of course!).

I have an afternoon of online yoga classes and zoom meetings ahead. I feel ready and excited.

Does this sound too good to be true? Too smug? Have you been judging me as I write this?

These words came to me when I was contemplating the words talent and efficiency.

This gorgeous morning hasn’t been an easy ride to get to! It’s taken years of difficult mornings, mornings when I could not prioritise my spiritual practices, where I chose to eat processed sugar and foods that hurt my body. Years of uncertainty in my business, and years of debilitating unworthiness seeping into my relationship with this life and all that comes with that.

It’s taken a persistent dedication to my yoga path, to my yoga students and to a deep calling that just wants to serve in a truly authentic way, that has slowly but surely cleared out the inefficient aspects of my nature and allowed my true nature to shine. This is where my most authentic talents have shone. By showing up on my yoga mat, and believe me its not been easy, it took me three years to be able to lie in shavasana fully without pain, to sit in meditation without my shoulders and back screaming at me, to consistently hold space in my classes in a safe way, during some of the most heartbreaking times of my life.

So this full moon, I celebrate all the dark and difficult places that I have had to consistently and lovingly pick myself up from so I can live and work with efficiency, ease, grace. So that my soul purpose and talents have been able to be realised.

Can you take a moment to celebrate. this full moon, how you are able to show up for yourself, and others even when you are going through your darkest hours? What has helped you through? What has been your anchor to enable your own talents to shine at this time? What one thing can you do today that will help you anchor this within you even more?

Blessed be my friends,

Love
